What is a report?
As the aim of our community is to learn from our cultures, we want to motivate each other to report in the forum by posting text, pictures and videos from our daily life or from special occasions in our culture/country.
It's important that we take these pictures ourselves. A report is something very personal .

What can you report about?
Everything! A hobby, your city, a family meeting, a cultural event, or your travels.
The list is endless! Things that might seem normal to you can be very special to others.
The aim is to share your daily life with others and to teach them more about your culture.

How can you report?
You can report with texts, pictures and videos!
All elements of a report should self produced: use your own texts, pictures or videos.  If you post only text without pictures, or only pictures without an explaining text your report might be less interesting for other users. So, don't forget to tell what the pictures are about. Always try to keep it simple, though interesting for others.

Every report should have a story
The most important about your report is that it should contain a story! You can report about a personal story (e.g. a day in your school) or a public event  (e.g. a cultural event in your country),but the main key to a good report is a good story to back up the pictures/video's (only add personal pictures and videos).

What is not a report?
Just copying text, pictures or videoclips from other websites is not a report.
Some examples:
-   Recipe of food (no pics or video) – No report
    (Someone cooks a dish, makes a report about how to cook it and adds pics/videos to it – this is a report)
-   Someone posts his artwork (art pictures, paintings, drawings etc) without any subject/story  – No report
    Someone posts the making of this artwork (creating a painting on a sunday afternoon for example)       and tells a story about his art. - this is a report

-   Someone introduces his favourite music in the forum – no report
    (Someone reports about a concert he has been to - this is a report)

How to publish your report?
You start publishing your report by clicking on the "create report" button in the appropriate board.

Now you can see the "report wizard" which helps you make your report. Just follow the instructions step by step and your report will be online!   Wink
